Default Difference in OBD1 and OBD2 dizzy

I just purchased a distributor which was for a 1994 integra LS. (should of got a td55u which is for 1992-1995) instead the guy sent me a td85u (96-01). He says they are the same. is it true? Now i was just wondering what the difference is between an OBD1 integra LS distributor and an OBD2 integra LS distributor? does the OBD2 have a crank angle sensor in it?? should this distributor work on an OBD1 (94) integra?

any help would be great.

Thanks

the differences are on the wiring harness. obd1 dizzys have 2 plugs while obd2 dizzys have one plug. you can get the harness conversion to make it work. other than that they're identical. rite now i'm using an obd1 dizzy with an obd2 engine harness. works fine.

not sure on the crank angle sensor though.

they dizzys are exactly the same internaly only the plugs are different. you can make a jumper harness for it or buy one, or if you have the old dizzy you can depin those plugs and put the on your obd2 and it will be fine. i thinks there is a couple write ups on it

Plug difference for alternator, distributor, fuel injector and obd1 dizzy does not have Crank Fluctuation Sensor and obd2 dizzy does.

So should the td85u (OBD2) dizzy work if i were to plug it in and try to start? or would it not start since it would have the Crank Fluctuation Sensor in it?

Thanks
