Default difference between obd2 and obd1 distributor

What is the difference between an obd2 or obd1 distrubutor? How do you find out which one you need?

Also is there a difference between the different b-series motors available?

nothing internally, but the plugs are different, they have the same amount of wires, but the obd2 has one plug and the ond1 has 2

if you can de-pin and re-pin, you can make the obd2 conector fit onto an obd1 car

i figure it might be easier/cheaper to get that distributor instead of replacing the coil, ignitor, cap and rotor.

coil and icm, rotor is stuck the only way i can take it off is to break it, and the cap is old has a crack where the bolt goes.

figure id just buy a whole new distributor and swap it out.
