whats the difference between the two motor as far as Horsepower, bore size, etc.

^^^^^^^ that's wrong arent all b18b's have 145hp?..and 127lb or torque?

hmm last time i checkd, my LS only has 140 :T

i never herd of 145...maybe the JDM spec.

yup thats the jdm spec. The B18b has a better flowing intake manifold which helps give it the extra hp. Then you also have the CRV head. Which is like a LS head but has the same size valves as Vtec heads.

Allow me to add a couple things about the B18A1. The reason the 92-93 has 10 more HP is due to a slightly higher lift intake cam. Also, the 90-91's came with an S1 trans. The 92-93's came with a YS1 trans. The gearing is identical between the 2, the only difference is the stamping on the outside and the spline shaft diameter is 1 mm larger on the YS1.

EDIT:S80 tranny can be DC2 usdm gsr, b16a2, and LS
