Default Deciding on a Header

Wanting to get anyone's suggestions on my header choice.
GSR motor with Skunk2 S2, Skunk2 Valves springs, retainers
JDM Type R pistons. 11.4 compression in my GSR.
Comptech Intake and Ice Box
Apexi WS2 exhaust.
Probably going to run the NOS GSR kit on a 75 shot for hehe's.
Anway, what type of header do you guys suggest. I like the JDM Type R because I can put a head sheild on it. That's the way I like things, looking as factory as possible.
Some of my ideas:
JDM Type R Header
Comptech Header
DC Sports Type R Header

What does everyone think the best bang for the buck is? Thanks and let me know.

JDM makes good stuff. I don't personal have them on my car. But I have seen them on others.

Off the shelf headers: Toda, Comptech Race,
Custom: DTR, SMSP, HyTech

I know I left some off the list...... so feel free and add 'em.

I'd go with SMSP, Toda, and RMF to name a few. For something a little easier on the pocket jdm 4-1, or dc. Also, if ordering a SMSP or RMF, they are both members on this board, and im sure will answer any questions you have, so they get a

best bang for the buck would be the DC sports type R, but if you want to spend the money I would get an SMSP header

without a doubt. DC is great for the price.

what? why would you even waste your money on a header that doesnt make any power, why not save up and buy a good one the first time......just doesnt make sense to me......

i.e. spoon, toda, smsp, rmf......

EDIT: and to clear this up the DC jDm y0 4-1 header makes the same power as the ITR 4-1 header, which btw is very minimal

Yeah everyone is saying pretty much what I was thinking. When you say minimum HP out of the DC or JDM Header, what do you mean? If I could get a used JDM Type R header for around 200 bucks, how would that changes anyone's opinions? I have had numerous headers on my previous cars but never a OEM Honda Header. The butt-dyno feels nothing, but the real dyno sees very little change.

For the money, what does everyone think about the Comptech Header. Not the race, but the $500 one?

DOHCMonster, how do you like the Spoon Header? Is it stainless or ceramic? What type of setup and power are you making?

Buy my Toda header, it is for sale now. It has less then 8000 miles on it and is in perfact condition. No dents, dings or scratches. Make me an offer.

id say save for a better one, comptech, toda, mugen,...etc.

for the money the true jdm ITR header can be had for the same price and not a knock off.
