Default A decent/cheap flywheel?

I bought the ACT Extreme Clutch kit without the flywhee. Now, I need a flywheel. Where should I get it and what brand. Thx.

my DC2 is running 300hpw with 225tw and plannin to hit 400hpw later. So what kind of flywheel is capable of handlin that.

Fidanza is a decent, cheaper flywheel ( as opposed to Toda or JUN ).

You want to hit 400whp and your thinking cheap?

I would think at that much HP you figure on spending boatloads?

If you plan on hitting 400whp then you don't want to go cheap. Go with the best possible. toda would be something you might want to look into. Its worth waiting a little while and saving up the cash. Never go cheap when you messing around with that much horsepower. Hope that helps. If you want to go below anything reputable or very high class then go with Fidanza, its a good flywheel. Not sure about its capability with that much whp though.

yeah I couldn't remember the letters/meaning for the torque but thanks for the reminder

yup, I spent a lot already and that's why now I only have so little to spend but since I already asked around for the price on the flywheel and they cost around $250 up I figure I might just get the Assco one.

400whp is just to see if my turbo and the fully built motor can handle + the drive shaft of course. I usually boost around 8~9 psi on the streets and it can hit around 296~310whp. I'm happy with the power by the way not that I'm going to go crazy on the streets.

don't know... need $$$

yup, that helped. At least it reminds me of how dangerous it is to go cheap. Just that ever since this whole turbo setup, I had to get the best of everything and now even with a decent job I'm still broke. I guess I should just put it back to stock hah

I think I'll call around for quotes on those Fidanza flywheel or something.

Since I already bought the ACT clutch kit, I think I'll go with something that's around $300? That's pretty much it.

good decision to get a trusted product. goodluck with everything and post some timeslips and dyno charts when you get a chance. I'd like to see what kind of power that is making on a chart. A dyno vid like skunk2nr would be nice too

I know you guys are curious about my setup. Here's the list so far (done in 8 months) and I have to thank some of the nicest people/shops for all these. Anyway, the car was dynoed in 30 minutes and wasn't complete due to the f*cked up clutch so currently the car is 300whp and 225 torgue@w and I leaned out and tuned a little just so the car runs better. Once I get the clutch thing fixed, then things should get better and..... FASTER Oh btw, if there's typo let me know. Thanks

Well upon reading your performance list:

I see TODA FLYWHEEL......

I am confused as to why your asking about what flywheel to use if you have probably the best flywheel out there. Doesn't make very much sense.....do you actually have this setup or what? Any pics?

CM is made by Fidanza, and is the exact same thing. So get which ever you get a better price on.

okay i'll ask to borrow the cam and take some pix. but how do I post pix here? and yes it's real. There's no point of me making this crap up. if you live in Walnut/Rowland/Puente or around the 60 freeway then I would love to show you since I'm too lazy to do those steps just to "show" ppl what I have. I might as well just pull the hood panel and boom. There you have it.

o btw the Toda flywheel is actually just a copy of it. Got it for cheap that's why I put quotes on there earlier. anyway, I'll try to "prove" it on honda-tech but I'd love to prove it more on the streets

thanks for the replies ppl!
