I'm sick of my DA that rattles/sqeaks/creaks over every little bump in the road, it drives me nutz!!! I'm thinking about getting a DC as ym new car, are they as noisy as DA's? So far Ive owned both a 1st and 2nd generation Integra and although both have been great cars, both have been noisy and very prone to rattles and squeaks. Is it just the way Intgera's are or are DC's any better?

I might be looking into just getting a Accord or something if thats the way they all are, I want something that I dont HAVE to have the stereo on at all times just to drown out the noise.

 

Umm i would say it depends on the age and condition on the car. There are some common squeaks on the dcs that i have heard of and dealt with personally. I havent driven a da but i dont think the dcs are that bad.

"My" DCs never had any problems, though my pos DCs that were bought as part cars did. Its all about the condition....thus the reason why some 94s are $2500 and others are $6k.

 

I had all that rattling in my car but I replaced a lot of suspension bushings with new oem bushings and most of the rattle is now gone. I still have to replace the trailing arm bushings to make the rear rattle go away. But start with your bushings and also check your interior panels.

 

My DA doesn't rattle/squeek at all...my buddies DC2 rattles all over the place...it's a GSR too.

My DC squeaks and rattles over every little crack and bump, but ill sacrifice the silence in the car for the performance

 

My DC2 has always made nosies over bumps.. even after putting in my new agx's so i guess its next to do the bushings and hope that fixes it.

haha, my 93gsr wasnt squeaky at all, but my gutted out dc2 is loud and obnoxious! probly due to being gutted and you can hear every damn thing!
