Well I dont know for sure

But without the sunroof on the RS it would be just as stiff if not stiffer.

I know when they add a factory sunroof that they add beams and bars here and there. So I would beileve the RS is just as stiff.

It could be even stiffer.

DC2 = GSR or Type R coupe
DC4 = RS/GS/SE/LS
But LS/SE/GS all came with sunroofs...

DC4 has nothing to do with sunroof
DC is for the 3rd gen integra and the 4 just signifies non-vtec

both the gsr and type r are dc2 chassis but from my recollection, the chassis is different. The type r has thicker metal around the suspension components and more braces stock. I think there were a couple more minor differences as well but can't remember

nice batch of info, 94ls.

anywho, the GS-R shares the same exact chassis w/ the RS/LS/GS/SE, with a few minor differences.. the strut tower bar, and slightly thicker swaybars.

i can't remember the exact details, but i think up until 98 or so, the non VTEC had a 22.1 mm front swaybar, where as the GS-R had a 24mm. the rear was 12.1mm on the non VTEC, 14mm on the GS-R. don't quote me tho, this is off the top of my head.

as far as everything else (chassis-wise).. it's the same exact thing; except that no sunroof = lighter, stiffer body. why do you think they left it out of the Type R?
