Default DC2 Dash Compatibility

My friend has a dash out of a 99' LS and is offering me a good deal on it. My car being a 94', the dash has a little crack in the middle up top at the very tip, right next to the windshield. Every 94-95 Integra I've seen has that crack, and mine just annoys me to death.
Anyhow my question is, is swaping the dash a plug and play situation? Or will I have to switch the wiring as well? The reason why I'm asking is because from my understanding, the newer model DC2's gauge clusters wouldn't work with older ones, right? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It will not be plug and play. Best thing to do is just change out the harness and all the electronics.
