why would you want to do that? the outer lights have projectors in them...

if you want to, just switch the connectors and have a blast

why would you even do this? the MAJOR reason why the headlight beams spread out further and higher than low beam headlights is how the bulbs are angled.

There is a reason why it's illegal to drive with them because the angle of the bulb hits straight into eyes of oncoming traffic.

With that said, don't do it. It makes no sense to do, the projectors should do justice.

no. low beam is 9006, high beam is 9005.
you can put 9005 in 9006 socket with modifications.
but you cannot put 9006 in 9005 because the 9006 base is bigger then the 9005.

you can aim them lower.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SonicBlueTeg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i know ur highbeam bulbs will burn out much quicker that way.. as they were not meant to be on all the time..</TD></TR></TABLE>
incorrect, i did the 9005 conversion and i drive with my headlights on during the day.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SpoonTeg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i heard that there is a way you can switch the lo beams with the high beams.... by that i mean....drive with the inner headlights lights on and have the outer ones off???? is that even possible??? if anyone knows how to do this trick...please let me know...thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>

if you want to drive during the day with them on, just unplug the low beams. and then put them back at night. ghetto way.. hah

They are always going to be a bit on the high side being the headlight adjustment is mostly for low beam.

you could just switch the connectors. If you look inside the male side of the plug, u could pull out the extra plastic covering the connectors and switch them in

yea, the harnes that plugs into the bulbs. Take some pillars and yank the white plastic out of there. Then you could plug it easily into a 9005 bulb

What you probably saw was Canadian Integras, which are required to have daytime running lights. The DRL system for 3rd gen Integras runs the high beams at lower voltage, so it looks like you're driving around w/ high beams only.

You may be able to put a potentiometer in the + wire of the high beam lead so you can adjust the brightness. Do some research on the net
