Default DC headers

I'm looking into getting some headers and am partial to DC, after researching different kinds of DC on the web, I noticed 4-2-1 and 4-1. Can anyone tell me the difference? And reccommendations on which would be better? thanks

i have the DC 4-1 header....gives you more on the tops end. The 4-2-1 is more for bottom end.....im pretty sure that is how it goes......i like my 4-1 though

What are you looking to do to your car as a whole ? knowing that will help you narrow down your decision

not partial to DC on everything, just headers. Well my new catback has really improved my low end, so i'm really impartial to low or high end improvement.

That doesn't make them good. A couple of their headers are copies of other headers on the market. There are quite a few names that have been in the header business for a short time and they are putting down much better numbers than the DC Sports.

Facts:
1) 4-1 TYPICALLY goes for top end.
2) 4-2-1 TYPICALLY goes for low-mid.
3) If you are looking for a good header that is 4-2-1, DC ultimately isnt it.

Only DC header Id buy is the JDM 4-1. Otherwise, Id go for a good 4-2-1 header like Comptech, or Toda. Those headers have the low-mid of a 4-2-1 header, and the highs typically associated with 4-1's.

not picky (yet) on the amount i'm willing to spend, i've had DC reccommended to me by anyone i talk about headers with, but i was able to locate some at a good price on the web (http://www.doctorimport.com/dc_sports_headers.html) and was curious which would be better since both the 4-2-1 and 4-1 were the same price.
