so i got my cams, springs, retainers and head work, all done...try to start it, and its rolling over fine...so im glad everything is rotating properly...im getting air then since the valves are opening and i watched my fuel pressure guage rise from 0 to 40 i beleive its at right now...so i have fuel too...but spark...hmm how do i know if im getting spark? im not sure yet...i dont think my distributor is screwed up, cuz the motor sounds "in time" not like the "out of timing" thump thump thump...so what could it be...i triple and quad checked all electronic conections...and my lil bro and my best friend helped me too...so what should i check??? HELP....Thanx

I did some searching...and found out some of this...

1) Check fuel pump...if it primes then the main relay may be bad...
2) Replace fuel filter
3) Crank with throttle open, possibly flooded
4) Jump start or Push start

Any thing else would be awesome...im thinking maybe its my main relay...where is this located? 1991 acura integra gs....and how much do these cost? is this a dealership item only...or does autozone and napa carry them?!

You'll know if fuel is going in there. You can smell it. Take a plug wire out and hold it to one of your acorn nuts on your valve cover and see if its throwing spark. It will jump, probably not much if its a stock ignition but you should be able to hear or see if its sparking.

 

check the distributor/rotor/cap and ground wires...

Just checked for spark...and i have no spark on any of the 4 plugs...ECU fuse is out...

 

I lied...the plugged the ECU fuse in...and i have spark...so im guessing its fuel...right? Not getting fuel...but the pump primes, and my FPR guage shot up when i primed it...soooo what now?
