Default da pulls to side when braking

lately iv been noticing when i apply my brakes the car tends to pull to the right a bit and feels unstable. my stepdads truck had the same problem but much worse tho, he thought it could be the tie rod ends were worn. could this be it or could it be sumthin else?

Doesn't that mean your tires aren't balanced correctly, brakes going out, or you need an alignment?
