Call Acura and see if they can give you all of the equipment to build a brand new off the line DA.... What are your goals?

nothing too big for now, im a student not really much money to spare so small upgrades, little by little. little upgrades that make a difference @ acceleration. the car is mostly stock. all i have is a long ram cold air intake.

DO NOT GO AFTER SPEED. First of all as a school student u do not want a speeding ticket. The start of any great build is strengthening the cars chassis and rebuilding the suspension. Also as stated before u want to repair wats broken. For example, u got a DA so fix all them leaks( the girls hate the molded smell anyway) and as u go along don't ignore the motor, do ur tune ups and maintain the motor

One thing I can say about suspension is that you get wat u pay for. Take into consideration what u really want your car to be (track/daily) different suspensions set for different goals

as a DA owner I can tell you if you want suspension parts start with bushings such as trailing arm bushing and rear lca bushings. good shocks are a must. strut bars are one of the last things that you need. And as it has been said start with what is broke.

daily driver. the car was in mint condition when i got.
First things first, mounts and axles are #1 on my list. then suspension.

and suggestions for suspension?
or axles?

i made up my mind on the Innovative mounts. they seem to get good feedback everywhere i look.

it's been established that this is his DD and he would focus on suspension first. as for suspension alot of the guys on g2ic.com swear by koni/gc and im sure the guys here would agree. personally i went with ksport which gets bashed by the g2icers alot. I've had it for about 2 or 3 years and still rides like a champ. but ur best bet would be the koni/gc.

Start off by replacing anything that may need to be replaced in the near future. Once you're done upgrading your suspension, buy basic bolt-ons (Intake, Header, Exhaust). That's all you really need. You could upgrade the ignition system too if you wanted, but I wouldn't go too much further if this is just your daily driver.

i just finished building my da itr, had my itr in my eg, eg got totaled, i went with hasports strip mounts got them brand new for $260 since im a hasport lincensed dealer.
It was def. a good investment, my da pulls way harder than my eg with the new mount, no a/c no p/s blah blah blah.

i started my build based on what i had out of my eg, my eg struts(omni drag coilovers) bolted right on to my da surprinsingly the car rides like a baby, after the suspension i started with the interior gutted everything, painted it, replaced window regulators wich thy go bad allllllll the time, body work, engine bay.

PS. GO WITH OEM GSR AXLES
