DA Integra?
Ok so i've been in the market for an integra for a while. And i came across this
http://www.cars.com/go/search/...=true
Thats an ls or GS? Whats the difference between the two? I was pretty sure its an ls until they said it has "VTECH" but when i looked at the motor picture it looks like a Regular B18A to me.
Also, what are the problem areas that most integras this year have? Like what should i look for?
Thanks

first off, its not VTECH, vtech is a communications company. honda has a system called VTEC, which tells me that this dealership doesnt know what the dilly its talking about.
thats a gs, no VTECH in that motor

its a GS alright, all looks in order, you just got a dealer who doesnt know what kind of car he has, pending motor condition that doesnt look like too bad of a deal for a car that clean.

that seems a little hight to me, considering the year, and mileage, maybe you could talk the guy down a little? looks to be in decent shape though.

i know its called vtec. I quoted it because thats how the add said it. and i knew it wasn't spelled that way. But are there any things i should look for when i check this car out?
Very nice car and I do think the price is right. I paid $2000 for mine several years ago, and I got a 91 RS that doesn't look nearly as good as the one you're considering buying. What's good about this one is that it looks very nice, and it has OBD1 since it is a 93 (you'll save $600 since you don't have to convert from OBD0 to OBD1).
To me it's a nice car.

GS: grand series, all options of LS, plus alloy wheels and leather seats (optional)
GS-R: all options of grand series but with a gsr motor.

definantly talk this guy down. i got a basically mint 91 rs for 1800. the dealer is sellign for the kelly blue book price for a car that is in immaculate condition. i think 2200 MAX. then again 2200 is still pretty high man. talk to the guy and see what you can come up with.

$2700 is way to much for that car. It has some really bad rust forming on the rear quarter panel, It also has 160K miles so i'd say about $2000 for it at most.
It is a GS, You can tell simply by looking under the hood. It has ABS (Which GS's and GSR's were the only ones to come standard with ABS).
Actually with LS there is not much of a difference in RS except painted door handles, push buttom climate controls and optional equipment (Power windows, locks, leather steering wheel, sunroof etc...).
