I have a 1990 Integra that i bought a few months ago and i want to fix it up a bit but all the DA6 and DA8 and all the others have me confused as to what i should buy. Please help me out here. Thanks in advance.

This is true for most places but i was looking at strut bars at this one site and the only info it gives is "Chassis: DA6/8". Plus i would just like to know the difference for future reference. Thanks.
I have the same year model car...but why izzit called a DA? shouldnt it be a DB? since its the 2nd gen teg? DA=1st gen DB=2nd gen DC=3rd gen...correct?
Let me explain guys
DA6 is on the JDM 90-93 Tegs.(i think)
90-91 B18As had 130 HP not 140, and a different front bumper.
92-93 B18As had 140 HP new front end, and that year is when the B17A GSR was introduced.

Not Necessilary, The Chassis code for my 93 4dr is Db1.
Second Gen 2doors are DA's.

Hopefully the link will help them work that out.

theres alot more chassis code to the 2nd gen teg than people think
da9 is as far as i know a USDM 90-93 non-vtec 2 door
da6 is the xsi/rsi (90-93 jdm/ukdm/wherever else they're sold like newzealand) w/ a b16.... 2 door
db2 is a 92-93 2 door gsr, db doesn't mean 4 door
3rd gen teg 4 doors are also db's... kinda wierd
da8 is probably something like a 90-93 teg in other countries w/ a zc or something retarded (cause they came with DOHC zc's in other countries.)
theres more info on G2IC
if you were wondering about what parts will fit.... just stick to buying parts for your motor. if you're buying chassis parts, any 2 door chassis parts will fit any 2 door chassis (regardless of if it says da6 or w/e). if you're buying body parts or interior electronics, they differ by year. 90-91 exterior is different than 92-93 exterior. same with interior electronics (like gauge cluster and what not). as far as the transmission goes, it differs by year. a b-series trans is a b-series trans so they'll all bolt up. you do have to remember that if the trans is a 90-91, its a small spline so you have to order a 90-91 clutch. in 92 every b-series trans went to big spline.
