dont hear much about ppl have cutouts on imports, was thinking about.. any pros- cons to this

 

What's a cutout?

 

its a device that opens up a hole in your header/exhaust...so that it doesn't lose power from going thru the cat/muffler

we put a pair on my buddies 94 300zx, made a slightly noticable difference on the but dyno and a few tenths at the track. Main problem is our cars are so low and the exhaust is so fa in towards the center of the car its a real pain in *** to get to to get the plate off and open em up, unless youget the electric ones but they're pretty pricey.
I'd like to hear if anyones used em on a teg though

ive read that the electric ones work very nicely and are easy to open and close

imagine rolling up to the line all quiet, then you open the exhaust from a switch on the inside...
