Default cruise control problem

got a problem with my cruise control when i press it it turns on but doesnt turn on in the gauge cluster. could something be unpluged?? any idea what it could be???

Also on rainy days i get smoke from outside my hood like as if its evaporating the rain or something. no smoke under the hood. this doesnt happen all the time only sometimes. was wondering if this is normal or not and if it happens to you guys to.

Change the light in the back of the cluster.

Hot hood+ cold rain= steam.

Could be any number of things. Could be a problem with the brake switch, clutch switch, could be a problem with the actuator under the hood. You should check the wiring to all of those. You'll likely need a factory Helms repair manual to know what to check for.

Did you ever figure out the problem? I have a similar if not same problem. I've tested all the wires going into the module and everything seems ok, save for the two or three wires linked to the actuator, where I'm getting nothing. So I think it is the actuator, but I'm trying to find someone to confirm my suspicion.
