Crashed!
Hi every1 im new to this site but i have had my teg for over six months, any how last saturday i lost control
of my car when i came in contact with some black-ice that was on a dangerous bend, the car slid out onto the wrong side of the road, and when i tried to get it back onto my side(to avoid a wall)the back end went out so that the car was flush with the walls on both sides, imanaged to avoid the wall i was facing but when the car came out of the slide it had to much momentum as i was now going down hill and it went side ways again and eventuly hit the wall with the top left corner of the car as i was now almost facing the direction from where i came
the back end came around and knocked down the wall,so now i have to pay for that to be rebuilt
as well as a knew bumper f/r and wings and bonnet and f/r lights,it only happend at around 40-60km/h and the left front wheel is turned slightly inward when its ment to be straight and my mechanic reckons ill just need a knew strut but he didnt have a good look at it because it is at my house im jst wondering if ye think any thing else mite be broken, and if i was to get a sports suspension kit would it contain all the parts of the strut(im not to sure what he means the hole strut) and which kit is the best for handling, my integra is 95 DC2 SIR vtech thats been imported,i would be greatfull for any help

ouch.. i was in a similar sort of accident in my GSR this weekend where i slid across the road to the wrong side and ended up spinning the car around. luckily for me though, i barely had any damage beyond a broken front bumper and some paint damage to my rear bumper.
in your case, it sounds like there might be control arm and/or other suspension damage. a suspension kit generally includes springs/coilovers, new shocks (struts), and sometimes camber kits.. however that doesnt include everything that couldve been broken or bent on yours.
i would find out the entire extent of the suspension damage from either your mechanic or posting pictures here so members of honda-tech can take a look at it before you make any purchases.
also.. i would have the frame of the car checked over to make sure it wasnt bent at all before ANY repair work starts.
btw sorry to hear, accidents can be pretty nerve wracking. good luck with your repairs!
