Default crank position sensor quick question

doing a front main seal replacement, i took off the crank position sensor because it was in the way of the crank sprocket. My question is if the crank position sensor supposed to be facing at a certain angle when reinstalling or does it just have to face the crank?

FYI

It's called the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF) not the crankshaft position sensor (CKP), which is instead located inside the distributor.
