wha!? you can get your licence suspended in GA for only 25 over! wow. My insurance company doesnt even raise rates for anything 19mph or under. About the wheel thing, it depends. On what size stock wheel/tire he had, and what he has now. example. if he had a 195/55/14 before, and he now has a 205/45/17, that will be a decent difference to create a difference in speed.

HOWEVER if the cop paced him, the cops speedos are calibrated, so no matter what your friends speedo said, it was wrong, he could try to use the wheel thing as an excuse but im not sure if it will work. Negligance is not an excuse.

i think at most, your speedo can be off like 5mph with biggers wheels. But my friend and i were side by side. Me stock wheels, Him 16' mf-10's it was pretty much the same, it wasnt very accurate but really really close.

you know that the cop is just picking on you because he has nothing else better to do and because you drive a nice car....

it's pretty much your work against his...and who is the judge going to believe??

i got a $98 ticket for going too slow!!! 95kms in a 100kms zone....
and this was at 6:30am on sunday morning with no traffic...
figure that one out....

You know, if he has lost his license twice already, then he probably doesn't deserve to have one. How idiotic can you be? Sounds like he is dangerous on the street quite frankly. If his other tickets weren't really that bad, then why didn't he get them fixed? Its always cheaper in the long run to get a ticket fixed.

Wondering if your friend is dealing with a full deck

Millhouse, i dont think the cop was just picking on him. He was going 25 over the limit. Its like doing 60mph in a residential track, or doing 90 on the freeway. If you were a cop, wouldnt you pull him over?

That does suck that you got a ticket for going to slow though. Damn Canadians....

What the f*ck was that cop all about??? So since the limit is 100, and assuming we're actually supposed to go below the limit, then what that a-hole cop is saying is that you only have a window of 5km/h (95-100 km/h) or else you get a ticket! **** man, that boy in blue sure takes his damn job way too seriously...
