Coolant Temp Sensor
Does anyone have a picture or even a description of where the coolant temp sensor is, i am getting a CEL code 6, so i want to try replacing the sensor but i dont know which one it is

If you follow the lower radiator hose to where it connect to the engine, look for a wiring harness that plugs in right next to that. That is the sensor.

That's the fan thermoswitch. The ECT sensor is on the side of the head, behind the upper radiator hose housing on PR4/P75/P72 heads and in front of the upper radiator hose housing on PR3 heads.
I think the sensor is 2-wire and has a green plug.

Yes, the one in the T-stat housing is the fan switch.
There's 2 sensors at my upper radiator hose. The 1-wire sensor is for the dashboard gauge. The 2-wire sensor is for the ECU.
