Search search search.

Lots more you need than just an ECU (the ECU isn't really necessary actually). I did it, but it's so much typing to explain it, why don't you search and you'll see one of my numerous posts about the subject.

Don't be a dick.

I think it might be worth it. You could pull the turbo, sell the auto LS and buy a manual LS. Seems a little easier.

you lame-o's have no sense of humor. Kia's be the new SATURN!!!!

If you think its worth putting in over $1k in the conversion on a $2-4k car, i'd say invest your money else where.

Yeah. Some kid traded in his Type-R for a Kia. Someone on team-integra got it. It was a black type-R and man, it is sexy as hell

It's worth it in that you will have a manual tranny afterwards. Ergo, it isn't worth the time, money, and headache.

i'm also curious...how does the car run? i haven't heard of anyone running a turbo auto teg before...i knew it was possible, but never plausible. what is the entire setup, and how many lbs of boost are you running? do you find that the tranny is worked too hard? what work has been done to the engine(besides the turbo)?

is it worth it? well, considering i paid only 400 bucks for my 95 integra..ya, it's worth it

and uh....it's not really as much work as people think it is...time consuming (we're also gutting the car too ). also if you get those parts fro junkyard..it'll be cheaper. i bought those lines from honda and evne w/ the discount..boy it still ran me over 300 bucks

Why is everyone hateing on the auto- manual swap?

My 97 lude i had before it was totalled, I did the auto-manual swap on.

I spent 700 in parts, thats for everything, ecu, cluster, JDM tranny, shifter, the works.

EVERYTHING was installed in one weekend.

I spent several months pieceing together the parts, and reseraching on how the clutch lines went.

The 5th generation prelude was a harder swap than the integra due to, i had to drill the holes in the firewall, the integra will already have them with a plate. thats a major plus. because,

It was SO hard to mark where i wanted the pedal and get a drill in there and drill it, if i fucked up, i was screwed.

Since you dont have to worry abou it, research, spend about 500-1000 in parts. spend a weekend, and youll have a manual car.

Screw all the haters.

$1000 in parts is till a lot of money.....it would cost you no money if you just sold your car and then picked up the same car but in manual

no one was really hating except for that jackass making the rediculous kia remark.....

if i may ... since a i see a lot of people saying it is not worth it, i too have an auto. is there anything to make it stronger or moree powerful? i dont want to go throught the hassle of the swap, but i was thinking of a SC instead of a turbo, i hear thats better for an auto. whats the good word on that?
