control arm replacement
1.) Remove cotter pin
2.) Remove castle nut
3.) Pop ball joint out of knuckle by hitting the knuckle with a hammer
4.) Unbolt UCA from the shock tower
5.) Tap the castle nut to clean the threads
6.) Loosely install the UCA to the shock tower
7.) Jack up the suspension and guide the ball joint into the knuckle
8.) Install castle nut and cotter pin
Buy a new cotter pin from the hardware store. Buy various sizes if you're not sure which one will properly fit.
The strut assy may need to be removed to make things possible or just easier.

FYI you can get a tool that is for popping the ball joints for like 6 bucks at any auto parts store, makes things a little easier. But follow the directions above and you'll be good.
