control arm problems
i looked at my passenger side axle and found nothing wrong wit it. instead, i found that the top control arm was bent. i am going to go buy another one and try doing it myself, can u guys tell me how to do it? thanks
I know taking a control arm off is PIA. By the way, it's not easy as it looks, i have a 94 LS and using an impact wrench didn't brake off the bolt. When i use a torque wrench, i broke the Freaking bolt !!!!!! ( cause of boston salt) Anyways, you have to replace the arm bushing too and some other parts that you have to replace cause you will have to break those when you take the arm apart.
Are you referring to the front or back? I have some front upper wishbones/control arms from my 97 GSR that you can have so I can clear some space in my garage. I went with Skunk2 camber adjustables so I no longer need them... I'm in the LA area...
dude, just finished my lower control arm bushings a few days ago. it sucked. if you have any questions hit me up adamwearscoates@hotmail.com

Yes, I would let you have them for $0. I live in Rowland Heights, but I'm usually in Irvine/Lake Forest during the day and San Gabriel in the evenings. Best for me would be to arrange a meeting on a Sunday morning, somewhere like Pasadena, not too far for either of us...
Let me know...
