control arm bushing replacements
anyone know how much the energy suspension poly bushings costs to be installed?
I want to do the front & back but want to know how much work is actually involved before I ask my shop to do it.

It cost me $25 per removal/installation of one bushing. I ended up replacing four all together with Mugen hard bushings.
Same difficulty no matter the bushing material. Three of the four front ones had to be air chiseled out. One of the front LCA's was bent in the process of installation and had to be straightened out to properly align with the rear (compensator arm) half.
Someone I talked to once said that he didn't like the ES bushings b/c they had a bit of an initial dead spot in them when turning. Stock suspension. I never got to drive his car to figure out if it was a problem or if that's just the way they are.

They are a major pain in the *** to change. Many hours of cutting, pressing, and chiseling. I did mine and actually replaced the LCA's with stock ones because the ride was too harsh for me. I'm lowered 2" though too. If i didnt lower my car then i'd get the bushings cuz they would stiffen the ride pretty good.
