Default Condensation under Car Cover?

My brother is storing his car for the winter. Is it normal for condensation to form on the car even though the car has a car cover?

yes the change in temperatures, and high humidity cause the material to sweat and cause condensation

so when it freezes outside and the car cover sticks to the car it wont damage the paint?

In other words, even though the car cover is stuck to the car, I should just let the cover do its function, right?

Thanks for answering the question professionally by the way.
