Default compustar alarm

Ive been looking into the compustar remote start alarm system for my automatic teg. ive heard good things about it like this one feature that wont let the car turn off unless the alarm is unarmed by the remote and i really like this feature. whats the name of the model that does this and how much does it usually cost? does anyone have this on theirs?

i think its more of a safety thing for the remote start.
the engine wont shut off until you arm the alarm. so that you dont leave it in gear.
that shouldnt be a problem with your auto though.

2-way paging system.. i think it goes up to 1.25 miles

it's a kickass alarm.. but be prepared to pay for it.

its definitaly worth it. aawesome system. i have it on my manual teg with remote start. range is always going to vary though depending on location and what is around. you cant just say exactly 1.25 miles. it depends on where you are at and if there is a lot of **** going in the air. go stand in a room with a whole bunch of computers. it will definitly not be 1 mile. just some thought.

I have the 2wfm compustar remote start alarm on my manual... it is a good alarm (tho the first time i got it installed the brain got all F'd up and cause a huge headache) but now the place i got it from got a new brain and it works great... the range is good even with the FM I can start my car when its not in sight in a parking lot full of cars... and my car does stay on after the key is out of the ignition and shuts off/arms alarm when the doors get closed... Great system and i got mine for 350 installed... haha deal and a half...

I have been using compustar for about 5 years now. excellent range and awsome alarm system. I have just the 2w900 alarm/start on my jeep and my nissan manual. I will be getting the ss with all features as soon as I get the civic running.

If you have an automatic then you can use any alarm really. I chose compustar because of its manual remote start features. It has the best pager I have seen out. The range is unbeatable on my 2WSS-AS which is there spread spectrum model. Also features like turbo timer are nice. I got mine of ebay w/ window rollup kit and tilt sensor.

When I get out the car w/ the turbo timer off. You take your foot of the brake and pull the ebrake. Then you can take the keys out the ignition and the car will run until the door is shut. Once shut, it rolls up the windows and arms the alarm. With the turbo timer it enabled it does the same thing except runs for two minutes before turning off. It now is in reservation mode which allows you to remote start.
