You'll have to let me know what you want. How are you going to give me the money for it? Just let me know what you want, but Comptech exhausts suck. They break after a short period of time. they are not good at all. They don't even look good. But, from the sound of it, the Icebox is ok.

The SS exhausts should be okay. If you get the other ones, you are asking for problems with the reliability of it. Comptech is one of the best sounding exhausts for Tegs.

So how much did everyone pay for their Icebox?

I used to have an AEM CAI but I am debating whether or not the Icebox is worth the extra money.

Looks like AEM cost about $200 on average whereas an Icebox is $350 - $400 for everything.

Is it worth it?

I just met with this guy on the classified section and he had AEM for type R for about $170 and no tax!

comptech exhaust cheap and they all break? I have comptech on my R and it fits perfect, I've sold dozens of them and never had a single problem with them. They are a very solid system, look good, aren't too big (small tip and good ground clearance) and have a nice deep sound. They only make one type to, no cheaper model, all 100% stainless steel. The only thing they have cheaper is the axle back exhaust. http://www.diabloautosports.com/adva...tegra&x=5&y=11

A friend of mine has a Type R and the B-pipe broke after like 5k miles. Hte comptech exhaust is not that great. They don't even look good. They are made cheaply and i've heard from other topics that they are made with a Dynomax muffler. Nah. I'll pass.

GSR94 My bet would be the power would be the same. If memory serves me correctly I think Muegen uses a rubber tube, as does the NSX, ITR, and other cars. I have the icebox with the stock intake tube and it works great. Save the $200 for some other performance part.
