Default compression test questions

i just did a compression test and all the numbers came out fine : 170,165,170,165
but i noticed on cylinder 3, when i crank it, some misty white smoke is coming out? my car also sometimes maybe every 15 times i start in 1st gear, blows white smoke? I know white smoke is moisture but does anyone have an answer to these questions?

Loose head gasket around #3? I imagine the warmed-up engine is still hot enough to vaporize coolant droplets, which probably leak in less frequently since the coolant isn't being pumped around as much as in the running engine. As to the start-up smoke, I'd guess that this is a minor problem now and doesn't do it frequently, possibly depends on if the engine is warm and metal and gaskets have expanded.

Just guesses, though.

um i hope you have a b18b cause a gsr compression should be a lot higher than that...white smoke is usaully coolant, keep an eye on the problem if it gets worse it could steam clean you pistons and worse case senario ruikn you entire cyclinder.
