Default compression test FAIL

i planned on running my car at street life tour this coming weekend for the first time, but i went and did a compression check on my car and got some not so good readings

1st 205
2nd 240
3rd 235
4th 235

proceeded to put a tea spoon of oil in the 1st cylinder sure enough it read 235 when i did it again. So obviously i have bad rings on that piston.

So question is, should i not run it this weekend. and baby the car until i have the money to rebuild the motor??

btw this is on a h22a1 swap

it only seems to burn oil in vtec

so basically its good to run it hard still. see this happened on my last gsr i blew a ring accidently dropping it into 2nd instead of 4th on a 65 shot going 90 mph and it just kept burning oil more and more then eventually i ended up bending 3 valves!

I mean this thing is quick!!! ive had the motor in for 2 weeks and havent had a single problem. i got it from a scrap yard and they knew nothing about the motors shape...it looked clean and they said the prelude it came out of was only on 80k miles! so i figured it was good but once i got the clutch broke in and started ******* on it i noticed it was burning a bit of oil in vtec

the rings are gona go regardless of how you treat it, go have fun with it, and get ready to re-ring it

Does it smoke black at high rpms? May have valve issues if so, may need to look into it. My integra ran great, but smoked like hell under hard accelation and high rpms, til one day the #3 cylinder lost almost all compression. Pulled the head, and a big chunk was missing out of one of the intake valves. Just a thought

the smoke isnt really dark, id say greyish and its not super bad. and its only after hitting vtec. i can get on it before vtec and none until it engages. valve train seems fine. lifters dont tick a bit. motor really seems in really good condition except for that one cylinder
