i just did a compression test on my complete b17 motor and i know that the stock is 9.5:1 and thats around what it was in 3 of the 4 clylinders, but in cyliner #3 it was very low and i was wondering what the hell it could be???

 

piston ring could be going bad... or maybe you just didint test that one correctly. I would try again and make sure its not user error

 

i just took the head off and my valves are shot so i think that was probally the main reason why the compression in that cylinder was so low, thank for the reply tho, much appercaited
