CODE # 9 PLEASE HELP
Ive been reading code 9 is a bitch to get rid of, I have tried 2 good distributors My setup is an Ls/vtec Blox cams USDM type-r Pistons head is milled .20 and the typical bolt ons. I have it all jumped to OBD-1 in a 91 Si hatch. Can Anyone help me i have tryed everthing from a new distributor to adjusting the cam gears and checking the wiring what Am I doing worng please let me in on your secrets Thanks guys
I know that the sensor is in the distributor that is why i changed it out with my friends from a b16 and he doesnt have the code so therefor it cannot be the distributor, it has to be within my setup or wiring I have to work this morning so I am going to look it all over when i get Home thanks guys.
i had the same problem with my gsr, vtec wouldnt pop because i was runnin code 9, it was such horse ****... i put on 3 new dizzys same problem....i ended up chipping my ecu with chrome and theres an option to by pass that sensor, so it never gave me a problem after that
If your motor is a obd2 the sensor is on the oil pump just letting you know for future reference because it should keep throwing code #9 when the distributors have been changed 3 times unless every distributor you're using isn't working.

I honestly have no idea From the things i have been reading if you use an OBD2 distributor it will look for the CPS on the oil pump where it is on the obd2 cars so therefor it will not look for one i dont know if you can fool it or not. Anyone?
