i have a b18b turbo in my ek and im getting code 65.. it had this problem for awhile but no when i go to use the car after a month of sitting it doesnt wanna accelerate at all.. well barely moves, im thinking its running in safe mode or somthing? anyone have any advice?

 

sorry a little more clear, before it would be random.. i would unplug the ecu or battery to reset it and it would run fine.. then do it again about a week or so later.. it bogg's from 1-4.5k rpms after that it will climb normally.. but anything before that just bogs

 

Code 65 is supposed to be the secondary oxygen sensor. What year is your engine? Sounds like symptoms of a bad o2 sensor hopefully its nothing more complicated than that.

 

engine is a 98 in a 98 civic, when i jumped the socket the CEL flashed 6times slow then 5 times fast.. thats code 65 right? my downpipe only has 1 O2 hole where as my wiring harness has two sockets for 2 o2's

 

Yep 65. Check your cat too. The secondary could be fouling out if your cat is bad.

 

my exahust is strait back from the downpipe, no cat

 

Do you have a secondary or are you OBD1?

 

i have a secondary but its not connected no hole for it in the manifold or downpipe
