code 54 wont go away

Default code 54 wont go away

im getting cel code 54 (crank fluctuation sensor). i did the bypass trick from FF-Squad and nothing but i did notice this 2 wire from the engine harness splice, dont know if it has to do something with it.

did you reset the ecu after you did that? by the way, what year is your car, is it obd2a or b.if you did do exactly what it states on the ffs website, then it should be clear, unless you got a bad connection when you did it, check the connection again.

oh and i just notice that the two wires that are cut open on ur picture are the wires for the ckf, the blue/red wire is the positive wire for the ckf and the white/red wire is the ground for it. so i would assume your car is obd2a. if so, you can just find the open wires of the same color and resolder them and your code should go away without having to do the ckf bypass trick.

car is 96 gsr. ok i fix the problem by connecting the wires to an extra 3 wire plug. the cel code went away now im getting code 9.

which wires did you connect it to, what 3 wire plug? so now your getting the cyp code? i just look at the ecu pin connector and there is two blue/red wire, one is for the postive wire going to the ckf and the other one is the a/c switch signal, so make sure you don't get those two mixed up, same goes for ckf ground(white/red), the alternator FR signal is also white/red, don't mix em up.
