code 43 please help!
ok so i have code 43. my car turns on fine no problem. but if i rev over 3500rpms the car acts as if it hit a rev limiter. also when i checked my fuel pressure gauge and rev it the pressure drops to 0!!!!! when it hits above 3500rpm. and the gauge(rpm gauge) goes nuts then the car shuts off. the hell is wrong with my car. i have a new o2 sensor and a new fuel pump. by the way this is obd0.
well it has to do with something of your fuel dilivery system, what im guessing is check your fuel filter and if you have an aftermarket FPR check the diaphram on that... and if you a stock one try to see if replacing that will help...
I had a code 43-I replaced the O2 sensor and everything seems to be fine now, if you replaced your sensor, make sure you wired it right or the ECU will be getting the wrong signal. Good luck, I know lots of peoplehaven't had such good luck, still throwing after a year o so.

what kind of fuel pump are you running? stock?
Many aftermarket pumps flow a lot more fuel than stock, and will cause an overly rich condition, even with the stock FPR.
This WILL pop a CEL for 43 or fuel system. Many times, this is due to a bad oxygen sensor, but if you are running too much fuel pressure, you will also get code 43.
what is your fuel pressure at idle?
you might need a new FPR. see if you can swap a known good FPR on there just to check it.
EDIT: just saw your sig with the turbo stuff..
fuel tuning w/ a turbo can be tricky. I assume you are running a high flow pump now. what are you using to increase fuel under boost? rising rate regulator or an ECU program?
I think we need more information about your turbo setup to be able to help you out, like injector sizes, regulator type, ECU program, etc.

sorry Arsenalbout that didn't mean it to be a *****. but the 43 code is really driving me crazy. i have a walbro 255. but it just happened. i'll swap my FPR to see if that's it then.
when you run into Code 43 fromwhat I understand, the ECU thinks that the car is running lean, so it over compensates on fuel, I think it stays around .5 I think, check the fuel filter, then the voltage on the pump.
