ok i have a 1999 honda civic with a b18b1 motors swap. using obd1 ls ecu. i am throwing a CEL so i pull the code and i get a code 16/something with the fuel injectors. well i do a "noid light" test and my #4 cylinder not getting power. when put a test light on it tho (trying to trace down a short) it shows al injectors having power. should i trust the "noid light" or my test light? and i have tried another set of inectors to see if they were the problem and they arent. please help me i need to get this car back on the road!!!!! thanks for all the help in advance!!!!!!!!!!

 

the car should be running like crap (like a misfire) to see wich cylinder is turn on the car and unplug the injectors one by one to see if the idle changes when you find the one missing trace the wire and make sure the wiring is ok check for continuity on a bad connection, if everything is fine try to use another ecu.

One more thing if I'm correct there should be some kind of plug for the wiring harness ussually this one seats on the strut tower on the drivers side by the brake booster, make sure this plug is all the way in cuz the signal for the injectors travels through there.

yea i know its the #4 injector, i can unplug it and it doesnt change the way the car runs, i cant take it abouve 3500 rpms also, so i do know it is something witht he injector. i have check all connections and everything looks good. injectors pulse dont they? because i show the wire is hot w/ my test light but its not pulsing with the noid light in it?

I'm not sure about this but I dont thing you are not going to be able to see if it flash with a test light since it pulses really fast, have you try another ecu.

 

well re-did my wiring last night everything checks out ok now
