Clutch problems
I have a 94 integra ls. I blow out the tranny at the track a few weeks ago. Since I'm gonna be putting a tranny in why not a good time for a clutch and lightweight flywheel. I got a 12 pound act flywheel and a hyperclutch 6 puck. I put everything back together, and bleed the clutch. But when I start it up and and go to put it in gear, it is very hard and takes a few seconds to finally pop in. Then when I go to drive off if I give it to much gas the clutch slips like crazy. When I'm sitting still it acts like the clutch isn't disengaging far enough to go into gear, and then when it does and I drive off it slips like it isn't engaging far enough, and it is very hard to shift. I work at honda and some of the higher techs are stomped. Any suggestions would be great.
im not sure if this is the problem but i had a simular problem, but if you have a short shifter try loosening it a little bit, it was hard for me to shift into gears and it would seem like im in gear then it would grind then i loosened my shortshifter a little bit and it fixed the problem, but like i said im not 100% sure on that
