clutch issues
Ever since I put in an ACT clutch approx. 5 years ago (60k miles), I have gone through at least 4 master cylinders and 3 slave cylinders. They just keep leaking and its getting old, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this before. When installing the master cylinder I leave some slack in the pedal so its not even firm at the top. I am fed up with it and only buying straight from the Honda dealer after they leak again but I don't know if its just cheap oem crap or if there is another issue.

This is a long shot....what fluid are u using? And are you getting any harsh chemicals like brake cleaner into the fluid?
As far as the play toward the top of the pedal travel.... Master cylinders are adjustable. Are you adjusting it properly to remove the free play after install?

Sorry the internet on my phone at work is very sparse....so I can safely say I am clean and careful when installing and filling with brake fluid. Before I was using DOT 3 and now am using Motul 600 DOT 4 fluid. I leave slack in the top of the pedal because I don't want to blow the seal out of the master cylinder, there isn't much but there is a tiny bit.
I have been using parts from autozone and napa, I have even been buying the more expensive options but still no differences.

It's entirely possible the pressure plate may be causing this issue if its springs are substantially stronger than stock.
