Default Clear Corner Problem

For some reason, the bulbs on my clear corners seem to go out pretty quick. Its usually the smaller bulb that seems to go out all the time. I had to change it 3 times in about 7 months and i know that cant be right. Any suggestions as to what the hell is going on?

You are probably getting oils from your fingers on the bulbs. Wipe the bulbs down with rubbing alcohol before you put them in.

Use a pair of gloves when you put them in.

if their "hyperwhite" they tend to burn out more frequently than regular/sylvania type bulbs. they used to burn out in my civic all the time and then i switched to amber sylvania and haven't ever had a problem similar to the ones i encountered with ghey hyperwhites.

okay.... but with if i want to keep them.... my boy told me it has something to do with my wiring inside. Is this true? And isnt true that touching the bulb with your hands is not good only for the headlight bulbs and the ones for your corners are alright? Thanks ahead of time people.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but I remember someone posting about bulbs that have a silver coating for a "true euro" look. I can't find that thread in the archive anywhere. Who makes those bulbs and where to buy? Thanks!
