cleaning?

i just bought a cat back from fellow ht. tanabe RD for 130. the axle back was cleaned by the previous owner. but, the pipe is kinda dirty cuz it was used for 2 years. is there any way that i can clean the pipes?? i think he used an acid to clean the axle back.

brillo pad. just make sure you dont apply too much pressure else youll introduce deep scratches into the finish.
