Default CKF sensor

Hi I have a jdm gsr in my 98 gsr. From what i have read the CKF sensor is in the dizzy on the jdm motor? So I do not have the wire hocked up so i have a check engine light.I read this http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm and this says that if it has NO CKF sensor. If I do this will everything work right and will it get rid of my check engine light?
Thanks for the help

It should be the same with usdm/jdm..i believe, but on the older jdm engines don't have CFK sensors.. pull the crank pulley off and see..

read this thread.. it might help a little.
