So I finally got around to checking the code and it's 41 and from what I have seen that's 02 sensor heater... I'm not to familiar with that, but from what I have read that would be the wiring being faulty or something similar. It does have a cat back exhaust on the car... if anyone has any input that would be great... also would this code make my car feel sluggish between 5 and 5600 rpms.. I've noticed a slight studder in that range sometimes... would this code make me slower at all.. thanks guys..

 

that's just the o2 sensor they call it by it's technical name in the book, just get a new o2.

 

Thanks bud...I'll change it this week. Could a 02 sensor have any effect on how the car runs or pulls through the gears.. or even gas mileage..

 

could set it in limp mode or just run rich which will make it seam slug-ish yes.

 

Yeah I can smell gas sometimes when I get into it.. so that makes since thanks for the feedback it helps explain a couple things.
