check engine on gsr
i got a P0303 code on my gsr and i have no idea what to fix. i had new spark plugs and wires put in but nothing. any ideas would help. i also get like a static noise coming from the fuel injectors to...??
Just cuz ur from washington ill try to help. Playing. Have you changed the distrubitor, and also, is the distributor rotor placed right in it. The rotor has to match to firing order otherwise it wont start. The static noise from the F.I. could be one of two things (that i can think of): 1. They are leaking, so the static noise you hear could be small fuel bubbles popping and leaking. Do u smell unburned fuel? 2. The wires that connect to the F.I. could be faulty which means u gotta take off the fuel bar (forget what its called writing this in hurry) thats connect to the F.I. and check them out. It may be that one of the gaskets leaked and ur fuel is leaking or that the wires are like i said faulty. Do you have spark? Check for spark. Take a spark plug out and press it against a metal surface and crank the car for a split second. MAKE SURE U DO NOT TOUCH THE SPARK PLUG OR THE WIRE WHILE ATTEMPTING THIS. check to make sure ur gettin spark on all plugs. Let me know how it goes.
P0303 is Cylinder #3 misfire
could be plug, wire, dizzy, fuel injector
and since you siad your hearing noises from injectors then im betting somethings wrong with #3 cylinders fuel injector... leaking, not flowing properly, wiring bad
