hey I have an 88 integra that is basically a play car but I wanted to do a few things cheap for little improvement. What would you recommend?

 

bust out some hard *** springs and go ghetto and build a cold air intake from some PVC piping with a k&n filter. should make things a little more fun.

 

dont do anything its free... .. how about some basic mods that always was a good start. i\h\e...

 

i/h/e. I am not sure how much selection you have for the g1.
Maybe an LS engine transplant

 

go with type R motor, that shoudl make things really fun

 

Free horsepower=Strip the interior. I've stripped more than 120lbs out of my integra (left dash, front seats, and A pillars). It handles like none other and its really fun. Plus it's FREE.

 

borrow a dremel and attemp to polish your head? not sure if i would help much but hey its free. also take off your muffler and hollow out your cat. take the resinator off your intake but keep the box. gut it out and your good to go. then just spend 500 bucks on a bottle.

 

go build a CAI with mandrel bends from summit.
