Default Changing struts

I'm running into a problem on the rear struts of my 2000 GS-R. The bolt connecting the control arm to the strut seems to be lodged. I've tried twisting, pulling, pushing, hammering, wd40, nothing seems to work, any ideas or suggestions?

The shock bolts connecting the rear shocks to the LCAs tend to seize inside of the bushings. Did these bolts unscrew? Most times the heads break off. If the heads did break off, you will need to cut the bolts and replace the control arm bushings. Most people use Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings for replacements.

If the bolts are loosened, you need to remove the two outer LCA bolts (one on each LCA) to allow for clearance.

If you are just doing springs and not the entire strut you can just remove the lca completly with the strut still attatched
