UPDATE: just contacted JDMthoughts and this is what he had to say
<U>As of right now the project is on hold due to both me and my buddy being extremely busy with our jobs, the prototype is just about completed and needs to be colored. It is relatively lightweight, not more than 10lbs. Hit me back in a few weeks and I will give you the update. It really killed the momentum when the H-T moderators closed and locked our thread. They wanted us to pay money to be a vendor, when we were just trying to gauge the public's opinion on this.
I wasn't aware there was still an interest in it.</U>
