So my neighbor's stock 97 GSR threw a CEL P1359. Something to do with ignition system failure. What the heck can it be. We swapped the dizzy, new plugs, new wires, ecu, and it still comes on after a few minutes of driving. Any suggestions? Compression test results are good so I doubt it's a misfire.

 

Came back on again, it seems to be worse in the summer.

 

Are U POSITIVE its "p1359" cuz it looks to me like there's no such number... "P0359" is "ignition coil "I" primary/secondary circuit malfunction"... So maybe replace the ignition coil?? If u haven't already tried that
