ok i know this has been covered but i still havent been able to find a straight answer, so either point me to a thread with the answer or please help me out lol. so my issue is i have a p75 in my 92 integra and i keep throwing a code 20. now from my understanding this is common. i know the 94 to 95 tegs have a eld but to Da's have an eld, because for a long time with this p75 i was not throwing the code 20 and now i am. so do da's have or not have a eld? if they dont will this code always be thrown as long as i have this p75 in the car? if they do have an eld on the car then where is it and do i need to trouble shoot it?

If the car never had the eld sensor then the Cel would have been on at all times

 

ah let me rephrase myself lol. i went to check my code. i guess it was my 02 sensor that is making the light come on now and wasnt before. but when i check that the code 20 was always in the memory it just doesnt actually turn the cel "on". so u are right. that code a has always been there but itself doesnt turn on the cel light the 02 sensor is. so question still remains. do da's come with eld's? if so where is it located, i know where it is on dc's but no idea if da's have it.
