CEL code 92 fixed...........
code 92: insufficient purge flow.
alright, since no one here knew wtf code 92 was or how to fixed it, i decided to post it cause i just fixed this shlt.
so, anyone who ride is throwing a code 92, (94-97 integra ls) here is how u fix it.
pop up ur hood, and on the throttle body, theres a black sensor that connects to ur throttle body and ur charchol cannister.
the charchol cannister is located on the lower right of the battery, bolted on to the firewall.
anyways, you need to take out the black purge valve/sensor thing on the throttle by taking out the (2) 10mm bolts.
unplug the one harness.
then with two wires, connect the black purge valve to ur car battery. one wire at a time. pos/neg doesnt matter. just conect the battery's neg first.
if you dont hear the valve opening and closing, or ticking. then, thats ur problem. get that shlt repaced and ur done.
now i can get my ride smogged.
oh yeah, the purge valve control unit is 146 bucks.
-------------
and i just found out that its only 84 bucks at acuraautomotiveparts.com
damn i got RIPPED OFF.
