I checked my CEL and it's telling me code 67. I do know it means:

Catalyst system Efficiency Below Threshold malfunctioning or defective catalyst system

Does that mean the cat is malfunctioning? Does this mean I need to check the cat again?

 

i would also get that same code on my 97 gsr, i had my cat gutted, and that cel would appear every once in a while. i would just clear ths code and it never came back

 

Hmm....so it could be a possible fluke then?!

Maybe i'll reset it and see if it comes back then.....i'm hoping it's a fluke cuz it's a brand new SMSP cat....
